Summary:
Rossetti notes The Haymarket as a relatively small exhibition (about 170 works) presented by two leading picture-dealers, Tooth and McLean. Mr. Goodall accounts for fifty-eight works and Rossetti asserts their status as "deservedly prized sketches." There are brief descriptions and comments in this fairly short notice, and PRB-movement stalwarts like Sir John Everett Millais, John Pettie, Linnel, Charles Edouard Frere, Coleman and George Arthur Fripp garner the most description and praise from Rossetti.
